Tatiana, a visually impaired, expecting mother in Brazil featured in a viral Huggies video. The diaper company arranged to have her 3D ultrasound 3D printed at the hospital so she could be presented with a physical image of her son’s face she could feel with her fingers.
It’s an inspiring use of 3D printing, but one that comes with a disclaimer from Health Canada who advises against 3D ultrasounds without a proper medical need.
