Jan Scheuermann, a woman with quadriplegia working on neurosignaling experiments under DARPA at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She is pioneering the use of brain-computer interfaces to control robotic arms for a wide range of tasks and most recently to pilot both a Cessna and F-35 fighter jet in a virtual simulation using commands from her mind.
