Imagine a bracelet that can unfold from your wrist into a miniature quadcopter, to become your personal photographer and take pictures of you when there’s no one else around to help.

That’s what’s Christoph Kohstall and Jelena Jovanic are building. Once Nixie takes its photos or video, it then returns to your arm and wraps around the wrist again, returning back to being a bracelet.

If all goes well they should have their project finished this November.

“Keep your pet in sight at night” is the tag line for this cool invention shown off by 11 year-old Blythe Serrano at a Maker Faire in New York. She used a 3D Printer to create an illuminated collar for cats and dogs to make it easier to find them.

After getting some positive notices, she’s planning to launch a Kickstarter so she can sell her cool collars online.
