Frozen: The Cinestory
By Robert Simpson, Erik Burnham, & Josh Elder
Kindle/iBooks
Three Stars
Fans have long been using movie screengrabs to tell their own stories on Tumblr. Here Disney adopts the practice to transform Frozen into a beautiful graphic novel, adding a bit of magic with a window that highlights each panel as you read. You’ll have to add your own music, sadly, but it truly does feels like you’re reading the movie.

3 Stars
Managing an adventure isn’t as exciting as being the hero of one. As your party quests across dangerous lands, you must also direct an army by recruiting agents, establishing camps, and claiming new territories. Nothing kills the romance of a quest faster than administrative duties and this land of dungeons and dragons has many. Yes, the well-voiced characters, imaginative situations, and layered backgrounds that BioWare is known for are still there, but buried under the digital paperwork of refugee supplies, military requisitions, and political alliances. Your attention can only drift away.
